CyberScoop has featured Votiro’s research into a sophisticated phishing campaign that impersonated FedEx, UPS, and DHL and evaded antivirus detection in order to deliver Dridex malware payloads to machines.
“It was really smart,” Richard Hosgood, North American Director of Engineering at Votiro said. “They modified the code just slightly to avoid being recognized as a known threat by most anti-virus software.”
