Israeli cyber security firm Votiro has received accreditation from the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) – an agency under the Department of Defence in Canberra – allowing the company to supply products to Australian government customers, including defence.
Votiro, which specialises in content disarm and reconstruction technologies, said on 4 December that the ASD has provided the company with a ‘common criteria certification’ following an evaluation by BAE Systems. The development follows a recent stated commitment by the Australian and Israeli governments to expand collaboration in cyber defence.
Votiro said that its Australian certification was obtained through the Australasian Information Security Evaluation Programme, which is overseen by the Australasian Certification Authority.
